How to Replace the Coolant of the Ford Fiesta

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 5, MK 5, MK V - Years 2002-2008

Replace the coolant of the Ford Fiesta by unscrewing the clip that holds the air filter tube and removing the entire filter box. Now, go under the car and disconnect the coolant hose at the bottom of the radiator, start the engine for 10-15 seconds and then turn it off; unscrew the cap of the reservoir to let it drain completely, unscrew the clip and detach the rear hose of the reservoir, restart the engine for a few seconds and then turn it off again, reconnect it and remove the top cap of the radiator to let out the last remnants of the old coolant; once all the coolant has drained, reconnect the lower hose to the radiator, with the top cap of the radiator removed, pour the new liquid into the reservoir, when the liquid comes out of the top cap of the radiator, replace the cap, fill the liquid to the max level, press the radiator hoses, put the cap back on the reservoir, remove the tab holding the temperature sensor, disconnect the connector, remove it, open the reservoir cap and let out a bit of liquid, reposition it, secure the tab and reconnect the plug; finally, start the engine and keep it running until the fan comes on; at this point, you can reassemble the air filter box and the coolant is replaced.
