To replace the fuel pump on a Ford Focus, you need to remove the carpet located under the rear seats. Once the carpet is removed, you will find a rubber grommet indicating the position of the pump.

To access it, you will need to remove the protective cover of the bodywork and then loosen the bolts securing the pump in its housing. At this point, disconnect the pipes and connectors and replace it with a new spare part; the new pump can then be installed by connecting and securing it properly.
