Removing the Fuel Pump on a Ford Focus

How to remove the fuel pump from a Ford Focus? First, disconnect the battery cables. Then, lift the car on a column lift; remove the tank from the underside of the car. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap, and remove it from its housing. Unscrew the large securing nut of the plastic fuel pump, disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation hoses connected to the underbody. Extract the floating fuel pump from inside the tank along with the attached parts. Finally, refit the new piece.
