How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Ford Transit?

To replace the timing belt on a Ford Transit, open the bonnet to access the components in the engine bay. You will also need to remove the right front wheel, along with the wheel arch liner and the protection panel located on the left side of the engine block. Underneath, you will find the belt, which can be removed from the pulleys by loosening the central nut of the tensioner pulley; this will reduce the tension on the belt, allowing it to be slid out of its position. Replace it with a new one and reassemble all previously removed components.
