You will need a small flathead screwdriver and a replacement CR2032 battery. First, press and hold the two buttons located at the bottom of the remote, then unlock the rear cover and open it. Next, remove the emergency key, lever along the indicated slot with the screwdriver, and separate the two halves. At this point, simply remove the old battery, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything.
