Model: Ford Fiesta MK 6, MK VI, Fiesta 6 - Years 2008-2017
Part: Bodywork
Operation: How you open and close the hood of the Ford Fiesta

To open and close the front hood it is necessary to observe some small precautions to avoid running into unpleasant misadventures; first of all, stop the vehicle safely by switching off the engine and engaging the handbrake; at this point, intercept the hood opening lever located at the bottom left on the driver's side, immediately under the dashboard; then pull the lever to open the safety catch and then intercept the second yellow lever under the hood itself, located in the central position; pull it upwards to release the safety catch and to be able to lift the bonnet by applying the support rod; then remove the support rod by hooking it into its seat, lower the hood to about 20 cm from the crossbar and let it fall so that it can close again.
