Opening the Car Lock

The basic method for opening your car lock without causing damage is to insert a wedge into the gap between the door and the pillar. This is a method you can practice alone, without resorting to a mechanic. Use the base of your hand to apply pressure, being careful not to damage the paintwork of your car. The wedged tool should create a gap wide enough for you to insert a rod into the cabin. Once inside with the rod, press the button firmly to unlock the doors.
