How to Change the Diesel Filter on the Ford Kuga

The diesel filter for the 2.0 engine of this model is the classic cartridge or immersion type filter and is located on the right side of the engine bay, on the passenger side, near the engine side support; once you have removed the plastic cover, the filter seat is easily accessible, disconnect the fuel inlet and outlet pipes by pressing on the appropriate clips, then remove the protective cover and rotate the cap to release and extract the old filter; install the new filter and the new O-ring seal.

Open the bonnet by pulling the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and secure it with the prop rod. Locate the inspection cap of the headlamp (at the rear of the headlamp) and remove it. After removing the caps, you will find the bulbs with metal clips; pull out the bulb holder from the headlamp and extract the damaged bulbs using a screwdriver.
