First, open the fuel door using the designated lever, then unscrew the fuel tank cap. Using a 8mm socket wrench, remove the three indicated mounting bolts. Next, pry along the perimeter of the base with a preferably plastic spatula to avoid leaving marks, and separate the body frame. At this point, transfer the fuel door to the replacement part and install it by following the reverse procedure.
