In this video, you can see where the spare wheel is located in the Ford Transit van and how to retrieve it, a very simple and quick operation. As shown, the wheel is not inside the cabin but underneath the vehicle, at the rear.

First, open the driver's door, then remove the side panel at the base of the seat and retrieve the tools provided. Next, open the tailgate, unscrew the indicated bolt, insert the large key into the hole, and unscrew the screw until the wheel is resting on the ground.

To return it to position, simply screw the bolt back in.
