How to remove the car radio on a Ford Kuga

Model: Ford Kuga C520, MK 2 - Years 2012-2019

Using a plastic lever or a flathead screwdriver, remove the central upper plastic of the dashboard. This will give you access to the two screws that secure the top part of the radio. Disconnect the radio connector and remove it. Remove the mat and uncover the other screws that secure the radio. Once again, using a plastic lever, remove the plastic that was secured by the screws. Go down and unscrew the last two screws. At this point, you can finally remove the radio and disconnect the connectors. If you are replacing the original radio with a generic brand, use a specific adapter for the input and for connecting the terminals. Secure the new radio in the central dashboard of the Kuga. Check the functionality.
