To replace the interior door handle in a Geely Emgrand GL, loosen the screws securing the door panel, located at the handle area, near the window switch, and at the bottom of the panel. Then, remove the panel itself to access the internal door handle mechanism: it must be freed from its mounting screws and connectors, so that a new one can be installed. After installing the mechanism, reattach the door panel.
