How to replace the cabin air filter on the GMC Yukon: to perform this operation, you need to empty and remove the glove compartment, which is slightly flexible and clips in place, making it easy to take out. It is only anchored to a lever at the bottom, just press it and it comes off. Behind the glove compartment, there is a small door held in place by a side clip. Just press it to remove the cover. You will see the filter, which can be easily taken out with one hand. If possible, blow some compressed air into the empty space to clean out any accumulated dirt. Replace the filter with the new one, making sure the arrows point downwards. Close the small door by putting the clip back in place, and now you can reinstall the glove compartment, remembering the lower hook. Job done.
