How to Remove and Reinstall the Hummer GCM EV Sunroof

Model: GMC Hummer Ev MK 1 - Years 2022-2026

Removing the roof of the Hummer GCM is extremely simple. The roof is divided into four numbered panels that can be easily released by loosening two levers for each panel with a rotational movement: this way, just slide the panel off the anchoring support and repeat the process for the other three panels. These should be placed in the trunk - located at the front of the vehicle - in the reverse order of removal, so they are ready for reinstallation. The trunk includes two practical straps designed for this purpose, which will hold the panels in place even on the roughest terrain. Now, remove the crossbars to fully enjoy the sunroof: under the rear seat, you will find the kit to perform this operation by removing the four screws that secure the two bars. A specific storage area is provided for these four screws to ensure they are not lost. A storage area under the seat is also provided for the two bars. To reinstall the roof, proceed with ease: one of the bars has the word "front" on it, while the other will obviously be the rear one. Simply reinsert the screws that you had properly stored, and reinstall the four panels starting from number 4. Close the levers for each panel, and the roof is reinstalled.
