In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the remote battery in a GMC Savana van, a very simple and inexpensive operation. To do this, you will need a small flathead screwdriver and a replacement CR2025 battery.

First, locate the slot along the lower right edge of the remote. Insert the tip of the screwdriver into the slot, pry it open, and separate the two halves.

Once done, remove the old battery and insert the new one, ensuring the positive side is facing up. Finally, reassemble the remote.
