Window Regulator Seal Repair

The first operation to perform is to remove the door panel. Using a small flat screwdriver, remove the plastic cap inside the handle and unscrew the underlying screw; unscrew the screw near the opening handle and then remove the plastic trim around the lever and the lever itself. Finally, unscrew the screw at the top left of the glove compartment.
With the aid of a plastic trim removal tool, it is now possible to unclip the pressure clips of the panel located along its perimeter; then pull the panel upwards to free it from the window scraper seal and disconnect the connector linked to the switch panel and the one connected to the courtesy light.
Then remove the protective plastic film, taking care not to tear it.
Next, unscrew the two screws securing the control unit ("W" shaped bracket), disconnect the connectors and remove it.
Now proceed to remove the window lift system by first unscrewing the 4 bolts of 10mm located at the centre of the door, then the other two located on the left side.
At this point, using a 10mm socket, loosen the clamps securing the glass and pull it out with a rotating motion.
Then glue the seal into its seat (carefully clean both the seal and the bodywork) ensuring there are no wrinkles or waves.
Apply spray lubricant silicone along the glass sliding guides to facilitate its movement and prevent it from damaging the seal again.
Reinsert the glass by first inserting the front part and then the rear, ensuring it slides freely along the guides and locks into the retaining clamps.
Proceed with reassembling the panel.
