How to Remove the Front Bumper on a Honda Civic

Let's look at removing the front bumper on a Honda Civic. First, lift the bonnet and secure it, then remove the plastic rivets with a metal lever. Using a battery-powered screwdriver or a screwdriver, unscrew the fastening bolts located at the top of the bumper. Once the screws or plastic rivets at the top are removed, unscrew the bolts from the wheel arch liners and finally remove the bolts at the bottom of the bumper. Pull the bumper off the vehicle body by hand. Reverse the steps to fit the new bumper and associated parts.
