Testing a Chinese Dent Puller Kit for Removing Dents from Car Bodywork

This video tests a Chinese dent puller kit (for removing hail dents) on a Honda Civic. It is found on AliExpress with the code 1005005576305069 at a price of £31.38 and contains various tools and accessories. Here’s how to proceed: Clean the area with alcohol, stick a tab onto the dent using hot glue, wait a couple of minutes for the glue to cool, and then attach the tab to the bridge puller. Pull to lift the panel. On the first attempt with a deep dent, the small tab detached, but the panel slightly lifted. On the second attempt, using a larger tab, the dent significantly improved, but did not disappear completely. Smaller and lighter dents came out very well, almost perfectly. Among the issues encountered is that the puller is entirely plastic, which feels unprofessional. If the car is not perfectly clean, micro-scratches appear around the worked surface (which can be removed with polishing). It lacks the strength to pull out very deep dents. It works reasonably well for small and light dents, but does not completely resolve deeper ones. It requires a lot of patience; it does not replace a professional, but for an economical DIY solution, it can be an acceptable option.
