If you want to replace the leather gear knob of a Honda CR-V, here are the instructions. Turn the key to "ON" and keep the handbrake pulled or use the shift lock release button.

Position the gear lever in first gear. Using a plastic spatula, remove the knob cover, then with a star screwdriver, unscrew the two screws.

At this point, detach the switch that is attached to both the upper and lower parts of the knob. Extract the knob by sliding it upwards and then disconnect the cable.

Now replace the old knob with the new one. Reuse the button and spring from the replaced knob by inserting them into the new one. You can now reassemble the gear lever by performing the reverse operations of disassembly.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
