How to Perform a Service Reset on a Honda CR-V

Model: Honda CR-V MK 5 - Years 2017-2022

On the Honda CR-V, the maintenance/oil interval reset, or service reset, is performed with the vehicle stationary and the ignition ON. From the displayed screens, enter the vehicle menu and navigate to the maintenance/Maintenance Minder section. Select the reset option (oil/service) and confirm by following the displayed command order (buttons on the steering wheel or selection on the display, depending on the trim). Once completed, check the Maintenance page to ensure the counter is updated and the warning no longer appears. If an error occurs, repeat the procedure just performed.
