How to Reset the Service on a Honda CR-V

Model: Honda CR-V MK 3 - Years 2007-2012

On a Honda CR-V, you can reset the service directly from the instrument cluster after performing the service. Turn the ignition to ON/II (key in, engine off). On the dashboard, scroll through the screens until you see Oil Life (the oil life percentage). Depending on the trim, do this by pressing the SEL/RESET button or the onboard computer controls. When on the Oil Life screen, press and hold SEL/RESET until the percentage (or text) starts to flash. At this point, release and press again while holding the same button until the reset is successful and the Oil Life returns to 100% (or the reset is confirmed). Turn off the ignition and turn it back on to verify that the percentage has been saved and that the maintenance warning no longer appears. If it does not reset, repeat the procedure while remaining on the Oil Life screen before holding the button.
