How to Fit a Front Spoiler

This video shows how to fit a front spoiler on a Honda Civic. First, clean the areas that will contact the adhesive tape thoroughly with alcohol. Also clean the contact areas of the spoiler well. Next, wipe the contact parts with a dry cloth. Apply the 3M double-sided tape as shown in the image. It is better to use multiple pieces (in this case, two) rather than one long piece. Press the tape down firmly to ensure it adheres well. Lift the tape a few centimetres and then carefully position the spoiler against the front of the vehicle. Now remove the backing from the double-sided tape. Apply some pressure to adhere the spoiler to the bumper. Using a drill, make two small holes through the end of the spoiler to the rear edge of the bumper. Now insert the fixing screws. Repeat the same operation on the other side of the spoiler. The spoiler is fitted.
