Replacement of Worn Shock Absorbers

You only need an 18 mm socket spanner for this operation. Remove the wheel and unscrew the nut that secures one end of the shock absorber to the vehicle's chassis.

First, securely tie the entire suspension arm assembly to prevent it from falling during the operation. Position the vehicle safely on axle stands and remove the retaining pins of the arm's protection from the suspension.

Unscrew the bolt that holds the shock absorber to the steering arm using an 18 mm ratchet spanner and remove the worn suspension. Attach the new shock absorber to the base and then to the chassis.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
