Replacement of Worn Shock Absorbers

Model: Honda Civic MK 5 - Years 1992-1995

You only need an 18 mm socket spanner for this operation. Remove the wheel and unscrew the nut that secures one end of the shock absorber to the vehicle's chassis. First, securely tie the entire suspension arm assembly to prevent it from falling during the operation. Position the vehicle safely on axle stands and remove the retaining pins of the arm's protection from the suspension. Unscrew the bolt that holds the shock absorber to the steering arm using an 18 mm ratchet spanner and remove the worn suspension. Attach the new shock absorber to the base and then to the chassis.
