Install Shorter Gear Lever

First, unscrew the gear lever knob and then remove the plastic cover of the centre console (to which the leather gaiter of the gear lever is also attached). Next, disconnect the gear cables from the control lever and unscrew the four fixing pins of the gear lever bracket, also detaching the cable clips connected to it. Then, install the new shorter gear lever complete with plastic support, reconnect the gear cables, and tighten the respective fixing pins.

Refit the plastic cover of the centre console and then the gear lever knob.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
