Install Shorter Gear Lever

Model: Honda Jazz MK 2 - Years 2008-2013
Part: Shift knob

First, unscrew the gear lever knob and then remove the plastic cover of the centre console (to which the leather gaiter of the gear lever is also attached).
Next, disconnect the gear cables from the control lever and unscrew the four fixing pins of the gear lever bracket, also detaching the cable clips connected to it. Then, install the new shorter gear lever complete with plastic support, reconnect the gear cables, and tighten the respective fixing pins. Refit the plastic cover of the centre console and then the gear lever knob.

To loosen this panel, unscrew the two screws found at its top, just below the handlebar.
