Replacing Instrument Cluster Lights on a Honda CR-V

Learn how to remove the instrument cluster from a Honda CR-V. Enter the cabin and identify the plastics to be removed. Remove the cover plastics located under the instrument cluster frame: use a plastic trim tool. Detach the frame from above the instrument cluster and unscrew the fastening screws, disconnect the power electrical terminals from behind the unit. Install the new instrument cluster or the same one after performing maintenance inside. Connect the electrical terminals, screw in the screws, and secure the cover plastics. Test the operation of the instrument cluster.
