How Does the Smart Key Work on the Honda SH 300i?

The Smart Key for the Honda SH 300i works from up to two metres away from the scooter and allows you to unlock the seat to access the helmet compartment and the fuel tank, as well as enabling the ignition. The remote has two buttons: one makes the scooter's indicators flash, helping you locate it in a crowded car park; the other prevents starting by a third party when the rider is not on the scooter but within the key's range. To open the helmet compartment, turn the knob to SEAT and press the side SEAT button, as shown in the video. By turning the knob, you can also switch on the instrument panel and lock the steering.
