Replacement of Brake Discs and Front Pads

Model: Honda CR-V MK 3 - Years 2007-2012

Lift the vehicle on suitable car stands and remove the front wheel; then detach the fixing pins of the brake calliper and its support; unscrew the fixing pins of the disc (use an impact screwdriver if necessary) and remove it from the hub: give a few taps with a hammer on the disc (as it will be replaced) rather than leverage on the hub's rib which may give way). Apply the new disc after cleaning it of protective oil, tighten the respective fixing pins, apply the new pads, and reassemble the support and calliper.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
