Replacing Brake Pads on a Honda HR-V

Want to replace the rear disc brake pads? Here’s how to remove the pads from a Honda CR-V. Lift the car with a jack and remove the rear wheel, then locate the brake caliper. Unscrew the caliper retaining bolt and remove the caliper from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to remove the pads from the caliper, then install the new pads onto the brake caliper. Refit the brake caliper with the support onto the brake disc, tightening all the retaining bolts. Once fitted, you can reattach the rear wheel. Test the car's braking.
