How to Remove the Car Radio in a Few Steps

Model: Honda Civic MK 8 - Years 2006-2012

First, note that in this car, the entire dashboard and front section are connected. As a first step, slide the seat forward, and using a screwdriver and a metal tool to detach the various plastic trims, remove the screws found in the central area of the compartment. Then, slide the seat forward again and remove the other screw, followed by the one at the front. Now move to the passenger side; on the right, use the metal tool to remove the plastic cover by applying pressure, and using the screwdriver, take out the screws to detach the entire lower plastic section. Repeat the same operation on the driver's side. Now, using both hands, slightly below the gear lever, detach the section where the handbrake is located, and then that of the gear lever, again using the metal tool. Now move on to the car radio. Lift the upper part, where the air vents are located, and gently remove the top of the radio. Remove the screws that are now exposed, both above and below, and you can now detach the car radio. Disconnect the electrical wires and you're done.
