How to Change Engine Oil

Here’s how to change the oil on a four-cylinder Honda Accord: position the vehicle on a ramp or jack and secure it. Locate the oil sump in the engine bay, unscrew and open its cap. Go under the car and, using a 17 mm spanner, unscrew the lower plug of the sump. Collect the old oil in a container; it will take a couple of minutes for it to drain completely. A pair of pliers is also shown that can be used to remove the oil filter cap (this can be used instead of the specific tool for this operation, which, while more convenient, is much more expensive). After closing the sump plug located under the vehicle, pour in the new oil until the level is reached.
