Engine Oil Change in the Honda Accord

As usual, before proceeding with the engine oil change on your Honda Accord, secure the vehicle on a stable and safe surface, either on a ramp or flat ground, to ensure the operator's safety. This precaution should be taken whenever performing maintenance on a car. Now, open the front bonnet of the engine compartment and remove the oil filler cap. Under the car, place a container under the oil drain hole, unscrew the bolt, and let all the oil drain out. At this point, unscrew the oil filter and replace it with a new one, after lubricating the seal. Close the drain hole and pour the new oil into the filler neck. And you're done!
