How to Change the Oil on a 2008 Honda Accord

If you have checked the oil on your 2008 Honda Accord and realised it is time for a change, you are in the right place. Today, I will explain how to perform this routine maintenance task independently. The first steps are to place the car on wheel chocks and then open the bonnet. Once the bonnet is open, remove the oil cap and head to the underside of the Honda. The second step is to remove the oil sump plug using a 17 mm socket. Allow the old oil to drain out, then replace the plug. The third and final step is to top up with new oil in the reservoir, approximately 5 litres. Now, close the bonnet and remove the car from the wheel chocks.
