Changing the Oil Filter and Engine Oil in a Honda Accord

As you should do every time you want to perform maintenance on a car, place your Honda Accord in a stable and secure position, either on a ramp or on a flat surface, well immobilised. This precaution is to ensure the safety of the operator. At this point, open the front bonnet and remove the oil filler cap. Underneath the car, open the oil drain hole and let it flow into a container while you unscrew the oil filter. Close the drain hole and fit the new filter after lubricating the threads. Finally, pour the new oil into the filler neck, checking the level with the dipstick.
