How to Change the Cabin Air Filter on a Honda Passport

If your vehicle is a Honda Passport, changing the cabin air filter is very simple. Unlike most vehicles that have access to this important component from the engine compartment or the cabin, often requiring disassembly of much of the dashboard, the Honda Passport has very easy access. Just empty the glove compartment and pull it towards you until you can flip it over. At this point, you will see the back of the air filter. Simply push the side clips, and the tray with the filter will come towards you. Remove it, clean the tray well, and replace it with the new one, paying close attention to the arrow indicating the direction of airflow. Now you can close it, secure the clips, reposition the glove compartment, and close it. The job is done.
