Fixing non-working interior lights on a Honda Accord MK4

The most likely cause is a blown fuse, but before replacing it, check the connections: often previous owners modify the wiring haphazardly (e.g., for the radio), causing short circuits. Check the fuse box under the dashboard or in the engine compartment. In this specific case, the missing or blown fuse was 15 A, located between two 20 A fuses. Replace the fuse with one of the same amperage. If the interior lights come on, the problem is solved. The dimmer switch is not always the culprit: always check the fuses and the condition of the wiring before replacing it. A simple diagnosis can prevent costly repairs.
