Dismantling Central Console Display

Model: Honda Accord MK 8 - Years 2008-2013

Before proceeding with the dismantling operations, it is advisable to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Using a plastic lever, remove the trim bars of the central tunnel; unscrew the fixing screws of the glove compartment located just in front of the gear lever and remove it; then unscrew the underlying fixing pins. Still using the plastic lever, remove the air vent and the trim of the central dashboard fascia, just behind the steering wheel; at this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the instrument cluster. Then detach the cover located just above the radio, unscrew the screws underneath, and remove the radio by disconnecting the relevant plugs. Finally, unscrew the screws along the top edge of the central display and remove the trim of the instrument cluster and the central display itself: at this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the display and remove it from its housing by pulling it forward and disconnecting the plugs.
