To replace the rear brake pads on a Honda Civic, lift the car so that the rear wheel is off the ground. Next, undo the bolts securing the wheel in its housing, completely removing it to access the underlying components. Here, you can unscrew the bolts that secure the brake caliper to the brake disc, remove it, and slide out the existing pads. Insert the new pads and reposition the caliper onto the disc, securing all the removed components.
