Start by opening the glove compartment on the passenger side, then remove it from the dashboard by disengaging the hinges on the bottom side. Next, cut along the edge of the housing to create a sufficiently large opening, then remove the old filter and insert the replacement. Secure the housing with tape or, alternatively, with the specific cover that can be purchased separately.
