In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the glow plugs in the Honda Civic 1.7 CDTI, a very simple operation. To do this, we will need a long 12mm socket wrench. First of all, we slightly warm up the engine, then we open the hood and remove the top cover by unscrewing the 4 bolts. We then locate the glow plugs behind the injectors, disconnect the respective connectors, and clean any residue present in their vicinity. Once this is done, we unscrew the first glow plug, extract it, and install the replacement one, avoiding tightening it with excessive force. We repeat the operation for the remaining 3 glow plugs.
