How to Reset the ECU on the Honda Civic

To reset the ECU on the Honda Civic, start by opening the bonnet by pulling the lever inside. Unlock it and hold it up with the prop rod. Once the bonnet is raised, locate the fuse box in the top right corner. Open the cover by releasing the clips, find the fuse related to the ECU, grasp it with small pliers, remove it, keep it disconnected for one minute, and then reinsert it into its housing. After repositioning the fuse, check if the engine light is still on; if it is off, the problem is resolved, and you do not need to reprogram any installed accessories (such as the radio or alarm).

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
