Honda Civic - Video tutorial

Model: Honda Civic MK 5 - Years 1992-1995
Part: Control unit
Operation: To reset the ECU of the Honda Civic.

To reset the "ECU" of the Honda Civic, we start by opening the engine hood by pulling the lever from the inside, unlocking it, and holding it up with the appropriate rod. Once the engine hood is lifted, we locate the fuse box in the top right corner. We open the cover by releasing the tabs, find the fuse related to the ECU, grab it with small pliers, remove it, keep it disconnected for a minute, and then reinsert it into its slot. Once the fuse is repositioned, we can check if the engine light is still on. If it has turned off, the problem is resolved, and there is no need to reprogram the installed accessories (such as the car radio or alarm system).
