The cabin air filter in your car should be replaced every 10,000 miles or once a year. You can do this yourself if you have a good level of manual dexterity. The filter is important for the health of both the driver and passengers as it helps filter the air effectively. Good quality filters at affordable prices can be found in accessory shops. To replace it, locate the cabin air filter, which is usually under the glove compartment. Once located, gently pull it out of its housing by pulling towards you in the same direction it is positioned.
