After positioning the bike on a flat surface and securing it in a stable and safe position for working, remove the engine protection from water and mud located at the bottom of the engine. For this operation, simply rotate the screw that holds it in place and disengage it from its position, as shown in the video images. Now, unscrew the cap of the engine oil filler and, after placing a container underneath the engine block (in line with the hole for draining the old oil), unscrew the nut found at the lower/external part of the engine block that seals that hole (as we can see in the images). Allow all the old engine oil to drain out and then re-screw the nut. At this point, unscrew the magnet using the appropriate tool, clean it, and then refit it in position. Finally, pour the new oil into the designated filler.

Today, we will discover the instructions that will allow us to dismantle and replace the drive belt of the Piaggio Vespa 50 ET2. First, place the scooter on the stand and start unscrewing all the fixing screws found on the side of the transmission cover to remove it; then unscrew the screw of the fan and the variator, subsequently removing the drive belt, as shown in the video. At this point, install the new toothed belt, as well as the original one, correctly refitting the fan and finally the side cover of the transmission.
