In this video, you can see how to enter the radio code on an original Hyundai unit. This operation is necessary whenever, for any reason, you have to disconnect the battery, whether to perform work on the electrical system or even just to change a simple bulb; or to replace the entire battery.

Naturally, you need to have the code at hand, which can be found in the owner's manual or on a card inside the glove compartment. Otherwise, you can find it on the instant-radio-code.com website by entering the full VIN (found on the vehicle registration document).

Turn on the radio and press the first button repeatedly until you reach the first digit of the code; continue with the second digit and the second button, the third digit and the third button; the fourth digit and the fourth button. Confirm with the fifth button, and you will have completed the procedure.
