How do you open the bonnet of the Hyundai Kona? Follow these steps: pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet slightly and pull the release lever to the left. Once the engine cover is released, lift it upwards and secure it with the prop rod. Now that you have opened the engine cover, you can perform your necessary maintenance. To close the bonnet: remove the safety rod and let the bonnet drop down from a minimal height. Ensure it is properly closed.
