In this video, we will see how to replace the lamp in the glove compartment of the Hyundai I30 MK2 version: this lamp is located inside the compartment itself, exactly in the center. The light fixture is easily removed using a lever-like object that is not sharp, so as not to damage the plastics. Disconnect the electrical connector, and lever on the outer edge of the back of the light fixture to separate the two halves. Remove the lamp from the socket by simply pulling it out: the YouTuber wisely wears gloves to avoid damaging the bulb. You can replace the halogen bulb with an LED one to have more light inside the compartment. Put the back of the light fixture and the electrical connector back in place, and fit it back into the glove compartment.
