How to change the battery of the Hyundai Tucson key.

On the Hyundai Tucson, the remote control battery is replaced by working on a clean surface to avoid losing springs or small pieces. Keep a plastic lever or a small flat tool handy and prepare the new battery by choosing one that is identical to the old one, checking the printed code and the orientation for installation. Unlock and remove the emergency mechanical key from the remote, then locate the opening notch of the shell. Insert the lever into the notch and apply gradual pressure along the seam until the two halves separate, avoiding sharp twists to prevent marking the plastic or breaking the clips. Once opened, locate the button battery and gently remove it, noting the position of the positive side and the orientation. Insert the new battery in the same direction, ensuring it is seated properly in the contacts. Close the remote by aligning the edges correctly and press until the clips snap into place, then reinsert the mechanical key. Finally, check that the buttons respond correctly.
