How to change the car radio of the Hyundai IX35

In today's article, we will show you how to replace the car radio in a Hyundai IX35. For this operation, you will need a special tool for plastic parts, or alternatively, a flathead screwdriver, but be careful not to damage the plastic. You will also need a Phillips screwdriver.

To replace the car radio, the first step is to remove the upper plastic cover by prying it off with the special tool or screwdriver, lifting it, and removing it. Once the upper cover is removed, you will need to take out the lower button panel by prying along the edge to extract it. Be cautious, as there are connectors located at the back of the button panel. Once the button panel is removed, you will need to disconnect the connectors.

At this point, you will have access to the four screws that secure the car radio. Unscrew them and remove the car radio, being careful with the rear connectors. Once it is extracted, disconnect the connectors.

Now, depending on whether the car radio is original or an Android radio, follow the instructions provided on the sheet to install the new car radio by connecting the connectors to the radio and then securing it with the screws. Finally, reinsert the cover and the button panel, reconnecting their connectors.
