How to change the windshield wipers of the Hyundai I30

On the Hyundai i30, replacing the wiper blades is a simple operation, but it's advisable to do it with a bit of caution to avoid the metal arm snapping back onto the glass. The procedure involves lifting the wiper arm and working on the attachment point between the arm and the blade, where there is a lock that holds everything in place. Once the joint is located, on the Hyundai i30, the tab/stop of the blade is released, and it is slid off the arm. The movement is guided: first, the hook is released, then the blade is gently pulled out of the holder without jerking, always keeping the arm under control. After removing the old wiper, the new blade is shown still in its packaging, and the installation begins: the attachment is brought to the same position as the arm and slid in until it locks back into place. When the attachment is secure, the blade does not wobble and remains aligned with the arm as originally. Before closing everything up, a quick cleaning of the glass in the work area is also done on the Hyundai i30 with a cloth/paper, so the new wiper starts on a cleaner surface.
