Let's see how to replace the spark plugs on the Hyundai i20 1.2. You can find them on eBay: 4 Bosch spark plugs with code 156527695226 for £19.99, with free delivery. The engine is a 4-cylinder and has 4 coils (one for each cylinder), located at the top of the engine. Each coil is secured with two 8 mm nuts, which must be removed to lift the coil without pulling the wires. Insert the spark plug socket with an extension into the well, unscrew counter-clockwise, and pull out the spark plug with the socket. Screw the spark plug into the well by hand and then tighten it with the socket. The torque for the spark plugs is 17/20 Nm. Refit the coil and replace the nuts. It’s best to do one spark plug at a time to ensure you do not mix up the coil wires.
