How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on a Hyundai Kona

To replace the battery in the key fob for a Hyundai Kona, press the button on the back of the fob and extract the mechanical key. In the gap left, insert a small flathead screwdriver or a plastic lever and gently pry to open the shell. Separate the two halves of the fob until the button battery is exposed. Remove the flat battery, taking care of the orientation. Insert the new battery of the same type, usually CR2032, ensuring the correct polarity. Close the fob by pressing the two halves together until they click into place. Finally, reinsert the mechanical key into its slot until it locks.
